Boho-chic is a style of fashion drawing on various bohemian and hippie influences (Boho, bohemian + hippie). It has been seen since the early nineties (in Grunge style) and, although appearing to wane from time to time, has repeatedly re-surfaced in varying guises. Many elements of boho-chic became popular in the late 1960s and some date back much further, being associated, for example, with pre-Raphaelite women of the mid to late 19th century.
Of all the celebrities influenced by this style, i,m just interesting in mention FLORENCE WELCH (Florence & The Machine). Welch has cited as her stylistic icons singer Marianne Faithfull, who had been closely associated with the Rolling Stones in the 1960s, and her former English teacher who used to "come to school in crushed-velvet gowns like a medieval maiden". Her stage image, which owed much to her long dyed red hair, called to mind the pre-Raphaelite muses who, in certain respects, had anticipated the hippie styles of a century later.

El Boho es un estilo de moda basado en varias influencias del estilo Bohemio y el Hippie (Boho, Bohemio + Hippie). Se ha visto desde los primeros noventas ( en el estilo Grounge) y aunque pareciera desaparecer de vez en cuando, ha resurgido repetidas veces en varios estilismos. Muchos elementos de Boho se volvieron populares en lo 60s y otros son de épocas muy anteriores asociandose, por ejemplo, con las mujeres del estilo pre-Rafaelita de mediados del siglo XIX.
De todas las celebrities influídas por este estilo solo me interesa mencionar a Florence Welch (Florence & The Machine). Welch mencionó como icono del estilo a Marianne Faithfull, que ha sido asociada estrechamente con los Rolling Stones en los 60 y a su profesora de ingles, quien "llevaba a la escuela vestidos de terciopelo, como una dama medieval".
Su imagen escénica, que tanto le debe a su larga cabellera teñida de rojo, recuerda a las musas pre-Rafaelitas quienes, en ciertos aspectos, anticiparon el estilo Hippie de un siglo después
